How to... Display pictures and start a slideshow

Viewing pictures with MyAlbum is very easy, all you have to do is select the thumbnail representing the picture in the album with the mouse and press the Enter key (you can also double-click the thumbnail or click the button in the toolbar).

By default, the picture is displayed full screen (pictures larger than the screen, are shrunk and small pictures are enlarged) with its name and size at the bottom of the screen. Of course, MyAlbum has many others ways and options to display pictures!

To return to the album view, just press the Esc key.

MyAlbum has two modes for viewing pictures: the simple mode where only one picture is displayed and the slideshow mode where you can display a sequence of pictures.

To start a slideshow, select with the mouse the first picture you want to display and click the button in the toolbar). To display the next picture, press the spacebar or click the picture with the left button. To go back to the previous one, press the Backspace key.

You can start a slideshow of only the picture that are selected, this is particularly useful for viewing the result of a Find command.

You can also start a slideshow displaying the pictures of the album in a random order.

Take a look at the The full-screen view - Viewing the pictures help page for the description of the commands available while viewing a picture.
